Earlier this week, I cooked a 10-person, 3-course dinner for my parents and some of their friends. In full transparency, I agreed to do this dinner because my mom so graciously offered to pay for my flights to Colorado in return for my services. Nothing gets me going quite like a good, ol’ fashioned barter.
