I am deeming this summer The Summer I Got Back Into Hot Dogs. After nearly a 20-year hiatus, I came around to the humble hot dog this summer and I’m honestly really proud of myself. It’s hard to say where the aversion initially came from, but for the longest time, I avoided them like the plague (the scent alone would sometimes make me upset).
